Draw Your Original Fantasy Character: Let's draw characters from fantasy together!
We'll learn the following:
- How do you take your initial concept of a character and turn it into an illustration?
- How can you responsibly make use of reference images?
- The complete process of creating an image of a person: sketch shade, color lines, clothes, and even hair!
If you've never drawn characters before, it's a good idea to start by taking my courses "Learn to Draw Faces with Four Simple Shapes," "Sketch Characters with Emotion," and "Fearless Figure Drawing," since we'll learn fundamentals that I taught in those classes and mixing them in this class. I'll be drawing with Procreate, which I use on my iPhone; however, you can apply these techniques in any medium you'd like. Please take out your character sheet and preferred drawing tools, and let's begin!
