Character Illustration Essentials in Procreate: This class will be a great deep, practical guide to drawing body postures and gestures that your characters can use. I will give you ideas, best practices, and secrets on drawing body postures that give an authentic character.
We will delve into the theory of body structure. We will then practice diverse and exciting exercises to loosen your hands. Then we will implement the lessons we have learned by creating a character from scratch.
If you're a beginner or have experience drawing characters, at the end of this class, you'll be able to learn how to draw body movements and gestures to help you improve your drawing skills and bring the characters to life.
This is the very first class in an ongoing series of classes. You can think of it as your pack of fundamentals in which I will clear all my doubts when I begin drawing characters that could be helpful to New students!
In this series of classes, we will go over the fundamentals of character illustration, one step at one time. We will cover the fundamentals, such as poses, expressions and gestures, backgrounds, clothes, and how to put your characters in a real-world project. The series can be followed each at a time, or select the most appropriate to your needs (or degree?)
The class of each class can be combined by:
- The first section of theoretical content covers the basics, and the second section which we will perform practical exercises.
- There is also a bonus part in which we can apply what lessons learned in class by creating a character entirely from scratch.
