Cut, Collage & Doodle Amazing Print Designs: In this course, you will be taught how to utilize Photoshop to make various outputs from a handful of simple and quick physical experiments that involve cutting, collating, and marking the paper.
You'll create an array of fun abstract prints as part of the class. The designs you create will be of sufficient resolution that you can print them to use in your portfolio or sketchbook or put them into frames and display up on your wall.
It is not necessary to draw to participate in this class. The experiments are free and similar to doodling; however, I'll provide some suggestions of marks you can create and shapes that you can cut and tear in case you're unsure where to start. You are free to experiment and have fun and begin to create your class's project!
You don't have to be an expert in Photoshop to attend this class since I'll go through the various stages of the process step-by-step. There are two or three areas where I'll refer to my previous class Photoshop Basics: Making a simple color separation in the course. I will cover the basics of this class, such as how to scan or take a picture of your drawing. This could be helpful as a reference if you require assistance.
This class is designed for anyone interested in graphic design, Fine art, or printing.
Notably, it will appeal to those who typically work with a hand, who want to know how to digitally manipulate or integrate their hand-crafted artwork, and those who want to incorporate their artwork into the printing process.
To attend this class, you must have or be able to install Adobe Photoshop.
