BIM: Designing Sustainable HVAC Systems with Revit: In today's world, where people spend the majority of their lives in built environments, the design of sustainable spaces with efficient heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning (HVAC) systems has become increasingly crucial. Mechanical systems often represent the most considerable cost in facilities and are significant energy consumers. Therefore, adopting a lean and agile approach to HVAC system design is essential for enhancing the sustainability of new buildings.
This course, led by instructor Onyema Udeze, focuses on HVAC design and analysis using Revit, from the conceptual design (CD) stage to the detailed design (DD) stage. Udeze guides participants through the HVAC project lifecycle, starting with a systems analysis workflow. The course delves deep into creating mechanical equipment and the fundamental components of HVAC systems. Additionally, participants learn about mechanical modelling techniques and advanced HVAC analysis methods within the Revit platform.
Course Contents:
- Introduction
- Conceptual Design and Analysis
