Acrylic paint can be an obtainable art medium with a lot of possibilities. Learning the basics is crucial because it gives artists a base. This course starts from the beginning and guides you through creating a unique watercolor landscape.
In the beginning, we will discuss all the items and how they will be utilized, including a PDF of the sketch we'll be creating and sized for printing in eight" x 10" to a size similar to the canvas. It is available in the Projects & Resources section of this course. Print this, and Paul will show how to transfer the image onto the canvas.
The next step is a monotone underpainting - covering the entire image with various shades of the same hue to establish the structure of value in the image.
Then we paint the image with white, black, and grey shades.
Ultimately, we'll glaze in color and then add layers of details to ensure the paint is completed.
The students can use the techniques acquired in this class to create acrylic artwork of any subject matter in any design. The sky is the limit once you've learned the basics!
