Gumroad - MarkCam:
MarkCam is a simple, utilitarian Blender add-on for swift access and management of timeline markers for anything bound by the camera, and makes keeping time easy. This panel resides in the Timeline header with an accessibility and control management panel in the N-panel.
- Under the Header option, left-click the current camera to bind it to a marker at the current frame (you'll know it works when no marker is visible any longer). Alternatively, shift+click derives a new camera from the 3D view without binding to a marker; on the other hand, ctrl+click derives a new camera from the 3D view and binds it to a marker.
- To remove markers, left-click the X to remove all timeline markers or, to remove only those at the current frame, Ctrl+click; this will prompt a confirmation.
In the latest release, version 2, a Camera Ranges subpanel is included in the N-panel under Timeline. This section shows all created cameras with camera-bound markers (filtered to ONLY show what's tied to timelines). There are columns for inline renaming, start selection (only starts can be set for now, but these will automatically calculate an end), automatically calculated ends, and options to select/jump to a camera's start. There is a refresh button to optimize the camera slate as well, which organizes start times, eliminates overlaps, and ensures ranges don't overlap each other.
- MarkCam only functions in the Dope Sheet Timeline.
- All tools operate through clicking/shift+clicking/ctrl+clicking; there are no menus to search through, making this a very fast panel.
Overall, MarkCam is a valuable time-saving tool for individuals seeking a menu-less interaction to create/manage timelines bound to cameras in Blender.
