Project Sorter is a plugin that helps you sort your projects directly through Adobe Premiere. As a film editor, when you've imported your media into a project, this software sorts and renames everything so you don't have to and can find your files easily in an ever more chaotic world of project media. Project Sorter allows you to sort by: media type, media length, whether it occurs in the project more than once, title, project, create date, last edit date, and many more.
Editors can sort by: resolution, sort folder, sort extension, project folder, aspect ratio, FPS, alpha channel, pixel aspect ratio, audio sample rate, audio/channel configuration. Then, editors have the option to move, rename, label, comment, and relink metadata of all sorted media and have the program process it for them to save time and probably errors. With such a sorting guide and a sort of guided effort for what to do once sorting is complete, this plugin is critical for an organized and non-messy editing process.
