Blender - Cavity Pass:
Cavity Pass is an addon for Blender that enables seamless integration rendering features such as a cavity pass to improve workflow efficiency significantly. It is modifiable as a cavity pass enhancer. This addon helps artists apply fake bevels and light effects on renders to deepen the impression with minimal adjustments. Along with other new features like HDRI Library, Fast Cutter Mode for P-Cutter, and a new cloth and cable simulations, the RanTools suite addon also features support of the asset browser at the material library.
To access the cavity pass feature, users must go to the N-Panel and A-Tools and select Cavity Pass. The interface is user-friendly. For instance, users can adjust the effect’s spread using the Distance control. There is also an option to view the cavity pass in a low-contrast preview before it is rendered.
After adjusting the parameters, users can render the image, which is automatically placed into the compositor node tree. Users who wish to modify the edge effects further can do so while selecting the render option. This will activate an addon that creates a cavity pass group node where the user can change the brightness and colour settings.
