Blender - AniMate Pro:
Animate Pro is an addon currently under development, offering a suite of animation tools that strive to incorporate the most sought-after features from leading software like Maya and AnimBot into Blend.
The toolset has been in development for over a year and was created in tandem with professional animators from Disney, Pixar, and Dreamworks studios. Now available for Early Access, the developers wish to invite users to actively help shape the addon by suggesting features and reporting issues. While still a work in progress, those willing to encounter errors will be pleased with the elegant solutions offered by the developers.
Some great features of Blender - AniMate Pro:
- Anim Time Warper: Allows for real-time feedback on the timing of keyframes by dragging Bars and Pins, or making eases, the timing can be dynamically adjusted.
- Anim Sculpt: Refine motion capture data by directly editing the curves in the Graph editor using proportional editing over keyframes.
- Editors' Top Bars: Govern the visibility of various elements and set four custom button themes for the displayed top bars in the Graph and the Dope sheet editors.
- Anim Offset: Shift the entire animation or parts of it using proportional blending to seamlessly offset transforms. Functionality is taken from the discontinued AnimAide addon.
- Anim Nudge: Move the selected keyframes to a specified frame or frames away from their original position or to the play head for precise adjustment.
