Aescripts - Calc AE:
Calc AE UI is an auxiliary dockable panel for Adobe After Effects which can be set up to enhance productivity with tools regarding the time on the composition.
It has the current frame rate, timecode, and frame count and enables the user to calculate and insert time variables into the composition. These tools allow precise control over layer, keyframe, CTI, markers, and work area for composition. It also enables users to store and recall certain timecode values, allowing for smoother navigation through time for complex compositions.

- Frame Rate Display-Update Automatically to the active composition and displays time in timecode and frame count.
Timecode Assist Tools:
- Layers: The duration of selected layers or individual layer points (inpoint/outpoint) can be calculated and inserted.
- Keyframes: The duration of selected keyframes or keyframe times (earliest/last) can be inserted.
- CTI (Current Time Indicator): Time for the CTI or durations relative to layer inpoints/outpoints can be calculated and inserted.
- Markers: Durations can be inserted between the first and last markers on layers or the comp markers.
- CTI Markers: Determine the time spans between the markers that are surrounding the CTI or comp markers when no layers are selected.
- Work Area: Put in the duration of the work area or times for the start/end of the work area.
- Save / Insert Value: Storing and retrieving values of timecode facilitates time saving actions.
Navigation Tools:
- Go To Time: Move to the indicated timecode or move the CTI by the specified number of frames.
These tools are meant for effortless time-base edits in After Effects, making it easier for people to manage time and increase their productivity.
