BAM Blender Automat is a materials management tool for Blender that significantly speeds up the creation and management of large texture libraries. It lets you create and update hundreds of materials with a single click. It was designed to complement the missing elements of the materials workflow in Blender that were present in Maya, allowing a simple transference of work habits from Maya to Blender.
The creation process incorporates subfolders, custom suffixes, and color space options, optimally creating materials by reusing existing texture data-blocks so you never end up with duplicate data. You can create a texture map using just the color channel and choose between OpenGL and DX normals. Material Manager is a Companion tool that allows you to create/delete/ Replace Materials, Analyze Material Sets, Optimize Material Slots, and clean up your Materials.
