Garibaldi is a Roman Text Typeface of literary sensibilities. With roots in humanistic calligraphy and a combination of organic aesthetics with the durability of anatomical Roman structure, Garibaldi came from a desire to understand the source of strokes in humanistic typefaces, ultimately creating a type with a 20-degree axis, medium contrast, asymmetric serifs, and terminals that mirror the broad nib stroke. Garibaldi was first released with Garibaldi Regular (Tipos Latinos 2014 Nominee) and has now expanded with various weights and italics.

Garibaldi is suited for any book, magazine, or document text as it is both highly legible and intricate, and easy on the eyes. The typeface has an extensive set of OpenType features; it contains small caps, ligatures, and contextual alternates, with over 750 glyphs, and supports more than 80 different languages suitable for typograph.
