Blender - Jackimorphic Camera Pack:
The Jackimorphic Camera Pack is intended for those familiar with real cameras and physical anamorphic lenses or those who want to explore similar realms for rendering and filmmaking of their own. This camera pack is intended to render and bring your digital renders to life with the elements associated with anamorphic lenses, as opposed to just tossing an oval aperture in front of the sensor like other camera packs. This uses an actual lens model in a path-traced scenario to provide a true cinematic rendering.
Jackimorphic Camera Pack provides a 2x anamorphic lens through physical optical components, which also means depth is physically compressed, and bokeh is physically stretched instead of an aperture magic show. There are two types of cameras included in this version: a dual focus and a single focus, with the dual focus being faster because it obviously focuses on two different areas at once. However, the single focus maintains a 2x squeeze better since it doesn't deviate from the focal plane. Dual focus is thus only effective from a certain amount of mm onward (~30mm) since there is a range, whereas single focus only works better at levels higher (~100mm) since a longer focal length is required.
NOTE: The settings are currently set for MFT sensor size; feel free to mess around with it. NOTE: The jackimorphic effect relies on scale, meaning that close-up photography or animated shots will provide the greatest benefit. NOTE: Currently, there are no flares or optical dispersion either—version 1.0 excludes those rendering desires.
