BATTERY 4 is now designed to increase one’s workflow, sampling, sound manipulation, and devotion to contemporary urban and electronic music styles with a fresh approach to the library design.
Usability:
- A wholly re-imagined, overwriting everything, the ultra-fast workflow allows instantly essential features to be reached from the main page.
- The oversimplified drag-and-drop usability makes assigning MIDI controllers, modifying cell and effect routing, reordering effects, and enabling side chaining very simple.
- Instrument types are cleared up through colour-coded cells, and the colour helps the controls adapt to cell colour.
- With quick control access and an easy-to-use gestured interface for navigation, editing, modulation, loops, and even envelope control, its functioning is very diverse.
Engine
- New effects such as SOLID EQ, SOLID BUS COMP, TRANSIENT MASTER, tape saturation, one-knob compressor, filter, etc., have been added.
- Time Machine Pro also features an improved time-stretching algorithm.
- New drag and drop bus system for group processing efficiency.

Library and Browser:
- A new tag-based browser for sound has been implemented. It allows for searching through tag or full text and supports discovery continuation through search history functionality.
