Aescripts – SpeedX: Performance is heavily dependent on GPU. Older GPU cards (pre-2012) may not be as efficient. Not supported.
SpeedX is an advanced plugin for time remapping with AI technology. It is designed to speed up and slow down videos by intelligently interpolating additional images between frames.
To calculate object motions in video sequences, the plugin uses an AI-based optical flow algorithm. SpeedX is able to detect the motion boundaries and the occlusion thanks to its intelligent AI technology. Then it uses pixel-based optical flow to guide the fusion of the image pixels. This results in high-quality intermediate frames that are more realistic.
SpeedX is an affordable and professional tool for time mapping, with stunning visual results. It's ideal for video framerate conversion, super slow motion, and speed change.
SpeedX plugin can also be GPU-accelerated for Adobe After Effects or Adobe Premiere Pro and is available for Mac and Windows.
Some great features of SpeedX:
Controls are simple and easy to use. There are two retiming modes, Speed Ratio or Frame Number. There are four interpolation modes: Smoothie, Sharp, Nearest, and Blend. With AI technology, the Smooth and Sharp modes can be used.
Frame interpolation produces visually stunning results, ideal for time remapping.
The occlusion-aware optical flow method produces a precise motion vector for every pixel. SpeedX uses precise motion vectors to fuse the image pixels in order to create realistic intermediate frames of high quality.
Intelligent AI technology analyses the pixels in large amounts of clips and determines the motion boundary occlusion. SpeedX is able to handle large motions and occlusions better than traditional technology. This improves interpolated image quality.
