Building Digital Planner Stickers In A.Designer: Hi! Making digital stickers isn't as difficult as you might think. In this course, I'd like to share some ideas and my experience and assist you in building a set of digital stickers you can personalize to your preferences. The sticker sets offer digital planners a little imagination and also a nod to what is "real thing." In addition, Digital stickers are greener than traditional planners made of paper since you can use them repeatedly.

This course teaches you to create digital stickers in Affinity Designer. I am a massive fan of using Affinity Designer to create digital stickers as it enables users to quickly and easily create precise shapes, align and space them effortlessly, add an effect vector to your shapes, and export your designs as slices into PNG images without background. This lets you prepare the images for your digital note-taking application and then apply them to pages with no white background.

This is an excellent opportunity to learn how to be comfortable with Affinity Designer. You will go through the fundamental creation process in the program, and you will also receive the final product that can be used once you're finished.

A couple of techniques that students will acquire

You will learn how to make your planner stickers using Affinity Designer. We'll begin by learning the basics of the functions and toolbars within Affinity Designer. Affinity Designer workspace. After that, we will create our digital sticker collection.

You will be taught how to create functional stickers and illustrated ones. Learn about the different kinds of stickers for making plans, how to set up your file, and prepare for your boards of art. You will be taught how to import illustrations from Procreate and import them into Affinity Designer. You will gain an understanding of the functions of layers in the software. We will also discuss how to utilize these tools to create shapes and line tools and how to utilize tools for alignment and movement. You'll better understand the tools used in layer FX and the best ways to apply things like shadows to make objects appear more realistic and 3D. We will show you how to import your digital stickers in Goodnotes and a few simple tasks in Goodnotes, including how to put them in and resize your stickers to use in your digital planners within Goodnotes.

The stickers you design during this course are to offer for download as a freebie if you want to create an email newsletter, sell the stickers on your website or a website such as Etsy or Creative Market, or use the stickers for your use. I'll include the affinity designer class template to make it easier, which you can alter and learn about before creating your own. I will also include the sticker book to add your stickers to Goodnotes. I will also provide the files with all the stickers I made in the class to use for personal purposes designed for Goodnotes and as a zipped file with PNG images.

Who is the class directed towards, or is previous knowledge or experience needed?

This course is geared toward novices. Having prior experience with or using the Affinity Designer software is unnecessary, as I will review the basics of becoming comfortable with the program.

Basic technical skills will be required since I will show you step-by-step how to use this program—affinity Designer software.

All you require to attend the class is an iPad, the Goodnotes app, another note-taking app, and your laptop or computer running Affinity Designer.
