Adobe Character Animator levels the playing field by allowing you to use your microphone and webcam to guide the character's performance. Key-framing is not required. What can you be able to learn?
- Key Concepts: We'll begin by understanding how Adobe Character Animator works. We'll review the interface and discover how layer names and tags function, along with the triggers, physics, and customized behavior.
- Face Rig: We'll explore the process of rigging the character's facial features with advanced techniques for eyes, mouths and lip-sync, jaw animations, and head rotations. You can even design customized art styles using The Characterizer feature.
- Body Rig: After we've completed your facial pose, you'll go over our body's mechanics. We'll be able to design animation triggers to trigger body movements, add breathing actions, set up a walk cycle, and use magnets to interact with objects.
- Animating a Shot: We'll go over how to make a fully animated animation by working in stages to record and alter lip-sync and animate various body parts individually, changing before exporting the finished image.
- Advanced Tips & Tricks: A whole section on the subject to discuss some of the most advanced techniques, such as using faders, rigging a 3D model and animating particles, including the auto-blink, applying the effect of a wiggler and making parallax effects for the background.
