Andreas Klein earned a bachelor of music degree at the Conservatory of Amsterdam and his master's degree in music from New York University. Andreas Klein has performed at many European festivals, including The North Sea Jazz Festival. He has won numerous awards at world-class jazz events, e.g., 1st prize at the "Amersfoort Jazz Talent Award," and was awarded full scholarships by the DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service) in 2010 and 2011. Andreas has played drums for Jean-Michel Pilc, Gerard Presencer, John Clayton, Howard Brofsky, Susan Martin Weinert, Christof Thewes, Roland Gebhardt, Jimi Tenor, Jules Buckley, Wayne Krantz as well as Joe Lovano.
