The recordings were recorded on the ground with an only little editing to maintain their authenticity. Therefore, they are designed to be as real to the way a person experiences the city on a daily basis. In certain instances, specific events can be heard from some distance, however, the loudest events were filtered out. Each file can be looped. Additionally, every season and weather pattern is depicted. The selection below is the result of fifteen months of recording across the cities of Montreal (considered the largest European city in North America).
