Medium Format was always an impact that was awe-inspiring for me as well as my job regardless of having never used a Medium Format camera (digital or film) before, mainly because I was lazy to get it right - I've always wanted to achieve the level of color and clarity and softness that Medium Format offers, particularly when using film.
This is my view of Medium Format - not an emulator for MF.
This preset pack was an inspiration from older Medium Format film, it blends my favorite colors and the less-contrasty style. While I am a fan of contrasts it's always beneficial to have choices and different styles. In the summer of 2012, I wanted to create something unique and after trying for six months, I decided to share the made presets.
I was in my desk at Algarve and was staring out toward the Atlantic ocean. I tried to clear all that stress out of my head and it is the best option for me to create something fresh. Bon Iver songs, cheap drinks, card games, as well as a few friends provided the answer and during the two weeks, I came up with these new styles.
